The enquiry form

A selected drawing, the details and a reply address.

Form details

The form starts with an idea or drawing, placement and approximate size. It supports ordinary autofill and optional details without an account.

Completed text and selected gallery references remain available while browsing in the same tab. Validation errors preserve the entered details.

Fictional example · enough for a useful reply
Drawing: AR-D-003, rose at the lower right
Placement: outer forearm
Size: hand-sized or larger
Colour: black and grey · timing: flexible

Selected designs

Selecting a design carries its catalogue ID, title and thumbnail into the form. It can be changed or removed without a screenshot or re-upload. Gallery photographs can also be attached directly as references.

Each drawing has its own ID. AR-D-003-C identifies the turquoise rose; it keeps AR-D-003 as its source sheet. The + control saves design references to the enquiry without creating an order or reservation.

Known catalogue size guidance is carried into the form. Published price notes come from the catalogue, rather than trusting a price supplied by the browser.

An enquiry does not reserve a design. Availability, adjustments and appointment details are agreed directly.

Reference images

A selected design identifies a catalogue item. Reference images communicate a subject, placement or direction and remain separate from that selection.

Optional uploads support three images, up to 5 MB each and 12 MB combined, with previews and removal controls. Identity documents, medical records and payment details are not requested.

The tab can restore a text draft. Uploaded files must be selected again after a reload or leaving the page.

Email test

One synthetic enquiry reached bookings.alexroze@gmail.com with both test attachments and passing SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication. Replaying that accepted attempt after restart returned its receipt without a second send.

The public development form remains preview-only: it displays the brief without sending it, creating an artist-facing enquiry or subscribing anyone. The receipt below describes the single delivery test.

Errors and retries

The interface separates validation, attachment, sending and retry states. Entered details remain after a failed submission. The configured delivery path retains an accepted attempt so a retry can return its receipt.

Public delivery is not activated. A production receiving service, abuse controls and data handling remain launch requirements.

After the enquiry

The intended destination is bookings.alexroze@gmail.com. The artist reviews the request and agrees what happens next; a delivered email is not an appointment confirmation.

An inbox agent and desk handover are deferred. The example below shows a possible brief; no automatic reply or booking action follows it.

Mailing-list subscription is inactive. A future option would use a separate unchecked choice, a consent record and an unsubscribe path. An enquiry must remain independent of the mailing service.

Software questions can go to @alexrozex. Personal information and draft handling are described in the privacy page.
