Cyberpunk Anime
Anime and manga drawing fused with cyberpunk, glitch, Y2K, and Itasha influences. This is Alex’s signature work as @jpeg_tattooer, with red and acid-green colour appearing throughout the portfolio.
Black & Grey
Black ink and grey values used to build light, shadow, texture, portrait detail, horror imagery, and micro-realism. A black and grey panther with cherry blossoms won Best of the Day at the Okanagan Tattoo Show in 2026.
Traditional
Clear silhouettes, bold outlines, limited colour, and designs compressed into readable shapes. Traditional tattooing was Alex’s first love and remains the structural foundation beneath much of his work.

Experience and proof
Alex began tattooing after working as a graphic designer. He spent eight years at Hammersmith Tattoo in London from 2011 to 2019, working across styles and learning how a busy studio operates. Princelet Tattoo's current studio history says it was established in Shoreditch in 2022 by Alex. Rocky Mountain Tattoo invited him to Kelowna in late 2024, and he has worked here since May 2025. Hammersmith separately publishes occasional London guest spots; dates and availability must be confirmed there.
